PHYSICAL started its final episode of the season and series five years into the future. Much has changed for Sheila (Rose Byrne) and her massive dream. It was great to be a part of where the entire ensemble ended up, even bringing back crazy characters from the beginning.
This dark comedy burned brighter in its final minutes, releasing more positivity and insights. It begged the continuous question of whether we are happy with our lives and how we achieve the connectivity we crave. The writers nailed it with their answer. It has been a long time coming, and Sheila, as always, made viewers feel a part of her erratic journey one last time. Kudos.
PHYSICAL reinforced “strength by numbers” repeatedly. And Sheila was truly honest by holding up her “biggest mirror.” In the end, I felt the “control” just melt away. Stay strong and healthy, Sheila.
