PEACEMAKER S2E3 ANOTHER RICK UP MY SLEEVE 😊

After a rock-solid first episode, PEACEMAKER “keeps on keeping on” with good, not great episodes. Look, I love hanging with the entire cast from this show and seeing them poke fun at each other with James Gunn’s witty dialogue. It’s a good hang, but it’s not enough. I want the plot to progress beyond funny “Bird Blindness” jokes.

In ANOTHER RICK UP MY SLEEVE, audiences get a lot of chill time while the plot takes a back seat for the dimensional mischievousness to be set up. My take on PEACEMAKER this season is that it shouldn’t have one episode drop per week. HBO Max should do it based on theme, as they have in the past with other shows. E1 is a stand-alone, while E2 and E3 could’ve been coupled together to set up a hopeful kick-ass E4 next week.
