ORDINARY JOE is not my cup of tea. I thought I could, but quite frankly, I just can’t let the story unfold.

My biggest complaint is that the writers want us to believe that no matter what, our lives and our decisions are forever linked in this one circle of people. If you make a choice today, that should offer up more scenarios, friends, hardships, stumbling blocks than the same old, same old. Our stories should be bigger, deeper, richer, and more complex.

I get that this is television, and the production is an ensemble cast, but why not open casting up even more?  Why have one actor play three different versions of a similar character?  It got old really fast, and boring. The cuts to each scene are rushed. I don’t want to see this every week.

ORDINARY JOE  has a talented group of actors. The basic premise is interesting, but not sustainable week after week.

ORDINARY JOE is available to stream on NBC Television.
