ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING gave fans valuable info on what makes a home feel like a home. Who knew Brooklyn could get this much attention? Although I loved the insight, I would have preferred to learn more about a “fingered finger.” The trio was scattered with the arrival of the pig-tailed wife. I didn’t mind that, because she is simply phenomenal, but it all felt disconnected. The series is at its best when Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez are all sleuthing and podcasting together.
There was one fabulous scene when three super-talented actresses had their moment on stage. This was a master class. I wished I could have been hiding in the wings. And I realize OMITB is known for misdirecting viewers to squeeze out every drop of comedic schtick possible, but in my mind, I was thinking, ‘Get on with it.’
ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING gets a mid-emoji only because of the incredible actress combo. I am hopeful it will get back on track next week. I will always be devoted to solving an Arcadia murder board.
