After several weeks of testing viewers’ patience, the crew from ONLY MURDERERS IN THE BUILDING returns from intermission to deliver the best episode of the season. Finally, the fun was back, and our trio got to do some sleuthing along with the welcome return of Loretta (Merryl Streep).
So, what changed from last week for me to sing OMITB’s praise again?
- There was musical theatre, and it was catchy/well-performed. I won’t spoil who sang, but I recommend getting a “good chair” to enjoy it.
- Da’Vine Joy Randolph has a hilarious return.
- Mabel (Selena Gomez) isn’t put into lame love situations and gets to do what she does best – be a strong, independent detective.
- The chemistry of Martin, Sheen, and Gomez shines. When they work together, this show is must-watch TV, and SITZPROBE has them in top form.
I was a “creature of the night” and stayed up late to watch the latest episode of OMITB. I’m glad I did, even though I still don’t know which of the Pickwick Triplets did it.
