NO HARD FEELINGS is an easy comedic jaunt through learning how to grow up at any age. It is successful due to the talent of Jennifer Lawrence, who portrays Maddie.
There is much chemistry between Maddie and Percy (Andrew Barth Feldman). The two of them romp through, finding ways to communicate and āknowingā each other. After all, is it just a jobā¦or is it? Lines are crossed and exposed to allow for oodles of hilarious moments. Jenniferās facial expressions and innate comedy timing guide this filmĀ to new heights. It is fun until it isnāt, and then the life lessons are put to the test. Well done, and kudos to the writers for creating a bittersweet, quirky, honest tale.Ā
The ensemble includes some star power with Matthew Broderick, Nora Benati, and Natalie Morales. All of the characters added a delightful, improbable story. (On a side note, it was great to see Matthew with his hair pulled back off his forehead).
NO HARD FEELINGS wonāt change your viewpoint about millennials, and it might not even be memorable. But it sure was an entertainingĀ Ā
