Season two of MOBLAND is already back, kicking off with the first episode. It was wild, insanely violent, and intensely entertaining. I wanted more immediately, and now I will have to settle for weekly installments. Bummer.

Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren were simply fabulous. Their back-and-forth banter hits the devilish spot of passive-aggressive humor, sarcasm, and violence. I would never want to get to know this larger-than-life power couple. The name Harrigan is ingrained in my brain.

Harry, played by Tom Hardy, is just too scary for mere words. Sometimes it is the quiet, polite, soft-spoken ones who are the most evil of all. Kevin, played by Paddy Considine, is the opposite. Together, these two personify what it means to work for the Boss and do their bidding. “Clean it up” means so much more when MOBLAND is on. No matter what, the Family is definitely imploding from the inside out. I can’t wait to see where the director, Guy Ritchie (THE GENTLEMEN, SHERLOCK HOLMES), leads audiences next. I know it will all be a bloody body massacre.

MOBLAND is only warming up. It will surely be gang vs. gang at the end. What fun.
