LOVECRAFT COUNTRY S1 E8 JIG-A-BOBO 🤮

I am mad at this show. 😡

It’s like the creators of LOVECRAFT COUNTRY fast-forwarded from TRUE BLOOD season 1 campy awesomeness to the later awful seasons in just a few episodes. What once was a timely take on horror and racism has turned into a bloody soap opera that replaces cohesive meaningful storytelling with violence, shock and sex.

Although the “big bad(s)” were truly scary in episode 8, the creators once again spent more time on other “skin-peeling” storylines.

For me, the show has not been able to recover ever since it “jumped the shark” in the laughable NATIONAL TREASURE like episode 4, A HISTORY OF VIOLENCE.

Tl;dr – I’ve officially quit watching LOVECRAFT COUNTRY and you should too.
