LOOT took us two steps backwards for Molly (Maya Rudolph), and pulled the rest of the ensemble closer together as a team. It was a hard episode to watch.
Molly was wedging a place in my heart for her growing empathy towards others and the world around her. I hope she can turn her “human” mistakes around. The real star of this week was Nicholas (Joel Kim Booster). Cahoga Lake, the play, allowed the viewers to see several amazing layers to his character. The man can act, and his performance “almost” brought me to tears. Kudos to the writers for creating an authentic, emotional dark, comedy.
LOOT’s finale is next week. Let’s hope Molly continues her “journey.” It is available to stream on APPLE TV+.
