LOOT returned for its second season premiering two episodes. It took up soon after where it left off with a sarcastic, snappy montage of questions and lightning-fast answers by Molly (Maya Rudolph) as she is being interviewed in her mansion home. It was off-the-wall comedy at its best with a couple of surprise guests.Â
The writers are continuing Molly’s journey of finding herself along with her crazy co-hurts at her philanthropic foundation. I guess it is a huge problem deciding what to do and how to help people in need when your bank account is filled with $180 billion. Oh, the problems of the rich…what to do…what to do.Â
The ensemble is as zany as ever with Michaela Rodriguez as Sofia leading the pack. Arthur (Nat Faxon) and Nicholas (Joel Kim Booster) are also strong in the quest to keep Molly on a straight and narrow path. Molly is a free spirit who can get distracted easily. It is easy to root for her success in this dark comedy.Â
It will be interesting and entertaining to follow LOOT this year on Apple TV+.Â
