I enjoyed the theme of what science isā¦ āChange is the only constant variable.ā And from this acknowledgment, anything is possible. We can surrender and accept. These are wise words for all of us to remember throughout our journeys.Ā
Brie Larson, as Elizabeth, showed her courage and tenacity. She shared how to accept ābad thingsā and come out the other side in the end. Brilliant, authentic acting. She was the heart of this episode. The final montage would not have had such power over the audience if not for the emotions shown on Elizabethās face and felt through her physicality. It was compelling and satisfying.Ā Ā
LESSONS IN CHEMISTRY was a lovely oasis during this quite barren fall television season. I will miss my weekly lessons.
