LAND OF WOMEN SERIES REVIEW 🤩 

LAND OF WOMEN is a six-episode series that combines the world of elite New Yorkers with a winery in Barcelona. Stunning cinematography can be seen along with a small village that is cared for mostly by females. 

This show is Eva Longoria’s project. She combines Spanish and English as if the two were one language. She is surrounded by her mother and daughter as they try to escape the financial blunders her husband has created. The plot is more complicated than that with many twists, turns, and brick walls to challenge the family’s true intentions. It is a heartwarming story that continuously demonstrates the power and strength of ‘familia.’ It definitely has a soap-box feel to it at times. Love and lust are always under the surface, and it ends with an over-the-top cliffhanger. I am betting it will return. 

LAND OF WOMEN is fast-paced and well-written for the type of genre that it is. The ensemble is colorful and talented. They have that look of women who work the fields and are very boisterous and opinionated. It all feels authentic. There is sarcasm, drama, humor, and a story that could go on for some time. What more could viewers want? There is one exception. Eva, stop running around the countryside in your heels! Even the most athletic New Yorkers would have fallen on their face at least once in every installment. On second thought, just enjoy the adventure and escape that features great values.
