LADY IN THE LAKE S1E3 I WAS THE FIRST TO SEE HER DEAD AND THE LAST TO SEE HER ALIVE 😊

LADY IN THE LAKE is a hard series to watch. It will not make viewers relax or cover them with warm fuzzies. Instead, it is a journey of visiting two women maneuvering within the seedier section of city life and working on a collision course at some point.

It is a dark show in both content and lighting. The emotions are raw and feel real within Cleo (Moses Ingram) and Maddie’s (Natalie Portman) conundrum of life choices and where they ended up today. It is the story of thousands of women wondering where the years went and how they took a wrong turn. Within all of this, LADY IN THE LAKE is also a murder mystery begging to be solved and put to rest. Kudos to these very fine actresses.

For me, the story is slow-paced. I get it, and I want to get on with it. This makes it hard to continue watching. The jury is still out. LADY IN THE LAKE showcases the “attic of a woman’s life.”  It is not always a pretty sight.

It is streaming on Apple TV+.
