LA HAINE (1995) 🤩

Newly restored in incredible 4K on its 25 year anniversary, LA HAINE (1995) left me speechless upon my (very, very late) first viewing.

The music, the style, the fits!! — this is one of the rare occasions, for me, that an older film feels as fresh as a new release. This gritty look at race, police brutality and (in)justice is as relevant as ever in 2020.

Experience now on Criterion Channel or wherever you rent movies, if you haven’t already.
