    HOME ECONOMICS is all about finding the spice in a marriage. Is it important to change the essence of who you are when married?

    Tom (Topher Grace) has to travel to Puerto Rico for researching background material on a book he is ghost-writing. His boss, Sophia,Ā challenges him to take more chances and become a dare devil. After all, ā€œYou only live once.ā€ Cue Thomasā€™, the Latin lover.Ā 

    The other subplot concerned UncleĀ Connor (Jimmy Tatro) and Sarahā€™s (Caitlin McGee) pre-teen daughter. Is it okay for kids to get advice from others and why canā€™t children talk to their parents about everything?Ā Thatā€™s a question for everyone who has a child.Ā 

    This episode had its humorous moments with Thomasā€™, but I have to say, I miss the rhythm of last seasonā€™sĀ scripts along with the opener this year. The show is just floundering a bit. I am hoping for a comeback next week.Ā
