HOME ECONOMICS returned with a theme of secrets. It was filled with tons of angst, and in the end, a moral dilemma for Tom (Topher Grace) and his wife, Marina (Karla Souza).
The writers also added another, lighter, secret plot involving Connor (Jimmy Tatro) and his dating choices. He is written as “not the brightest one” in the family. It was fun to watch Jimmy’s facial expressions as situations got more complicated.
As always, Topher’s reactions are understated and add to the decision made for his character’s livelihood. It was an okay episode with some humorous moments included. Again, HOME ECONOMICS is at its best when they have more of the entire family situations explored.
