HOME ECONOMICS this week is all about what family thinks your daily job is worth. Does the thing you do everyday have value? Do others look up to you and treat you differently? Or are you just not seen at all?
These are the questions that are considered when Sarah’s (Caitlin McGee) son chooses to write a report on his rich Uncle Connor’s (Jimmy Tatro) job. Chaos ensues and every sibling and their wives question what they bring to the table of earned money. And sad to say, stay-at-home Moms are at the bottom of the totem pole. All of this is done with laughter and quiet moments. I especially loved Tom’s (Topher Grace) cleaning frenzy with his twin boys.
HOME ECONOMICS continues its run of great, subtle sitcom comedy. It is a pleasure to watch and see so many of our own past moments up on screen. The dialogue is quick and honest. How could anyone ask for anything more?
HOME ECONOMICS is available to stream on ABC Television.
