THE GOOD: Well, they stuck the landing. Top three moments:
- This season’s MVP, Kourtney (Dara Reneé) singing LET IT GO while facing anxiety, is the voice and representation kids need not to feel alone.
- Miss Jenn (Kate Reinders) is back again, and every moment with her sings.
- Big Red (Larry Saperstein) also returns. And how he normalizes his announcement, so mater-of-factly is why HSMTMTS continues to rock.
THE BAD: Nini’s (Olivia Rodrigo) goodbye. The show handled her season departure poorly. Outside of a lottery ticket setup, they could’ve done more to include her over the last eight episodes. If not on-screen, at least in character conversation.
THE RESULTS: HSMTMTS ended up being worth my time this year, which will more than likely have me coming back for S4 as I once again “get my head in the game.”
