Derek Hough finally gets a chance to dance in HSM! It took the series seven episodes to have him break out in song/dance like he does on TikTok, and it was worth the wait. His musical dance number with Miss Jenn is reason enough to tune in.
Look, Iāve been complaining for weeks that thereās not enough music in a show with āMusicalā in the title. And this week, we get music. We can hold off āThe Mobā from picketing the show as the song and dance start at about the 13-minute mark, and itās a must-watch for fans of the series.
Despite having two weirdly staged storm offs by Nini (Olivia Rodrigo), I love that the creators are stretching her dynamic with Ricky (Joshua Bassett). Iām excited to see what āthornyā situations their relationship will get into in the coming weeks.
