HACKS completed its first season of ten episodes. I can honestly say I wanted this show never to end. It is, quite simply, that great!

Five things I loved about this series:
Jean Smart as Deborah Vance and Hannah Einbinder as Ava are the perfect comedy duo. They play off each other, making every actor’s dream of acting and reacting a master class. They are in sync in tone, timing and not over the top.
The satirical, dark comedy between these two women and anyone Deborah Vance encounters is biting and exhilarating.
The contrasts between Las Vegas and Los Angeles are peeled back for all to see and digest.
The different levels of love between mothers and daughters are exposed with humor and sadness.
The idea of true friendship between two women, two men and a man and a woman is uncovered and explored.
HACKS is well worth your time and is available to stream on HBO MAX Television.
