GHOSTS completed its third, disappointing season. I have been following their crazy antics since it began, but I must say the writers lost their edge and oomph, yet CBS renewed the series.Â
Every episode was filled with Sam’s (Rose Mciver) real-life pregnancy and how to keep her blossoming stomach hidden from view. It did not work. It was boring seeing the once, vibrant, and energetic character always seated, wearing extra-large, bulky clothes, or hidden behind a huge plant or huge floral arrangement. It would have been more entertaining if her character had gotten pregnant as well. This would have offered far more funny stories and possibilities for the GHOSTS family.Â
GHOSTS in the past was a sweet, humorous sitcom. I think the writers lost their way trying to not focus on what was staring the audience in the face. What a shame. It’s available on Paramount+.
