FRIENDS: THE REUNION 🤩

FRIENDS: THE REUNION was definitely created for all the people who dearly loved the series. I can confess…”Hi. My name is Esta and I am a huge FRIENDS fan.” This being said, I loved watching the reunion.

It was great fun seeing JENNIFER ANISTAN, COURTENEY COX, LISA KUDROW, MATTHEW PERRY, DAVID SCHWIMMER and MATT LEBLANC arrive on set at Stage 24. The entire 1 hour and 44 minutes was unscripted. Part of the time, the show was hosted by James Corden. The audience was invited to watch all six stars read from several original scripts while superimposed in the past episodes. It was seamless. It was as if time stood still and everyone slipped back into their original roles effortlessly.

We were transported to the coffee shop, Central Perk. There was much reminiscing and stories shared about many of the big episodes. Gunther, Janice, Reese Witherspoon and even Lady Gaga came to visit. Of course we heard “Smelly Cat” once more, and Richard (Tom Selleck) came knocking on their apartment door.

We learned how they were all cast, who crushed on who and what those ten years of being FRIENDS meant to each of them. It was like slipping on a comfy-cozy sweatshirt, leaning back in your favorite chair and just laughing, smiling, remembering a time long ago.

FRIENDS:THE REUNION is not earth shattering, life changing TV. It was created for the fans who considered themselves a member of their six. It was comfortable and brought me back to a special time and place. Thanks for the memories.

FRIENDS:THE REUNION is available to stream on HBO MAX Television.
