FIVE DAYS AT MEMORIAL is now dealing with the aftermath of all the horrendous decisions made when the levees broke in New Orleans. Forty-five patients died during those five days. This was the most deaths in any hospital during that time period. Questions and investigations are underway to get to the truth.

Many nurses and doctors went to Memorial Hospital and Life Care Center, having extreme, emotional PTSD moments. They feel hopeless, helpless, and remorseful. They are wondering if they did enough. One nurse compared it to the fall of Saigon and what that looked like on TV. Lines are being drawn with lawyers on either side. Dr. Anna Pou (Vera Farmiga) is at the center of it all. Her life will never be the same. Vera is an accomplished actress who knows exactly how to “ work” each scene. Her talent keeps us on a roller coaster that will not end well for any of them.

FIVE DAYS AT MEMORIAL is taking us on a moral, ethical journey. It is heartbreaking, but necessary so that we will do better next time. Most of the recordings and events happened. It is very sad to watch.

FIVE DAYS AT MEMORIAL is available to stream on APPLE TV+
