DEXTER: RESURRECTION this week got a little hung up in too many subplots and alas, fell into the filler category. Don’t get me wrong. It still had intense moments, but they just weren’t the usual level of fans love and expect from The Dark Passenger.Â
The writers are wrestling with Dexter’s moral code while still keeping him in the muddy waters of dealing with relationships. It is a tough dilemma, especially when Dexter (Michael C. Hall) is feeling the need to scratch his instinct to kill. It doesn’t help when there is a relentless character from his past and his present too close for comfort. Beware of who you befriend, Dexter. This is my advice.Â
DEXTER: RESURRECTION only has two episodes left. I am thinking they will be a doozy of a killing spree. I can’t wait.
It is streaming on SHOWTIME.Â
