CHAMPAGNE PROBLEMS is a predictable, holiday, rom-com set in France. The chemistry and the gorgeous locations give this film its ‘feel-good’ moments. Don’t look for anything deeper than that.Â
Sydney and Henri are adorable together. Their romance is classy and filled with honest conversations about their life’s regrets and losses. This is what makes this not just another holiday love story. The character arcs push the plot forward. It is a welcome change, but do keep in mind, it is still just another ode to finding love and friendship during this time of year.Â
CHAMPAGNE PROBLEMS will not surprise anyone, but perhaps it will reiterate what should truly matter as we travel along our individual paths.
