CALL ME KAT opened with a rousing 40th birthday celebration for Kat (Mayim Bialik.) Everyone should have so much joy on their birthday.
The story centered around age differences in couples. Does it make a difference anymore? I know when I married my husband, I was considered a “cougar.” This term seems to be obsolete in today’s world. Thank goodness! Labeling is not helpful in any relationship.
Phil (Leslie Jordan) still cracks me up. Kat always leaves me smiling. This sitcom is not deep or though provoking. It will not change the world’s viewpoints on anything of consequence, but it always gives me a silly relief from the news and our troubled country.
