ANNIHILATION is the most challenging/thought provoking sci-fi film since ARRIVAL. Unlike ARRIVAL it is missing the one key ingredient that would’ve kept the audience engaged…empathy.
One more thought – was the Lighthouse in this film inspired by BIOSHOCK?
