AND JUST LIKE THATā¦is getting its groove back on target. Time is passing by for Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) as she sits in her old apartment writing and finishing her novel about her life with Big (Chris Noth).
Ā Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) is having a tougher time figuring things out. Charlotte (Kristin Davis) is not a fan of change or apologies. The ladies,Ā of course, air their grievances over lunch. I missed the old rhythm of their shared meals. It felt like old times, with the exception of pulling the widow card.
This episode worked. The pacing was perfect. The sex, the arguing, the disappointments, the awkward, silent pauses, and the unexpected all happened.Ā Ā The clothes were cool, hot, and yet appropriate for 55. I laughedā¦I felt sadā¦I smiled. Thank you to the writers and director for getting it right. It felt real, and I believed what they were all feeling.Ā
AND JUST LIKE THATā¦gave me a āglimmer of hopeā. I will ride that ārollercoasterā with these ladies in their āquest for love.ā It is available to stream on HBO MAX.
