ALL THERE IS WITH ANDERSON COOPER 🤩

ALL THERE IS WITH ANDERSON COOPER is an eight-episode podcast daring to talk about the most difficult, honest, raw topic most will never openly discuss…death and the grieving process. It is truly the elephant in the room, and Anderson opens up about his mother, Gloria Vanderbilt, recent death along with the suicide of his brother, and his father’s death when he was only ten. It is a deeply personal look into his life as he begins the process of packing up his mother’s apartment. Along the way, he has meaningful conversations with major celebrities, writers, and counselors who have loved and lost a parent, sibling, or partner.

Listening to Anderson is cathartic. Everyone speaks from the heart and really says it like it is. Nothing is held back. Often I found myself shedding tears for all those who had suffered a profound loss. I marveled at their insights and words of wisdom. I was caught off guard as I listened. I remembered more about my own losses than I thought I could. I realized I had more in common with vast communities of people worldwide who had also grieved for the death of their parents and child. Anderson’s guests brought me down and then lifted me up to serenity. I was inspired. I was empowered. Life and death go hand in hand. We cannot ignore this truth.

ALL THERE IS premiered months ago. It has taken me this long to feel brave enough to look at old wounds I had hidden in dark crevices. What astounds me is that I have been frequently told about how great this podcast is by acquaintances and friends. I figured the universe was trying to say something to me. Perhaps I needed to listen. Indeed, I did. This was not easy, but in the end…so worth my time and energy.

ALL THERE IS WITH ANDERSON COOPER is not easily forgotten. Poignant, bittersweet moments illuminated for added strength and courage to begin moving forward. Everyone on this planet will have to journey through the passing of a loved one sooner or later. I found it comforting to have Anderson by my side. I think you will too. I hope there will be a second season. It is streaming on SPOTIFY.
