ABBOTT ELEMENTARY’s greatest strength is when the writers and cast deal with issues facing teachers in today’s society. This was not the case for KARAOKE. Yes, teachers must have a life outside of the school boundaries, and there were moments of humor and honest emotion, but it just wasn’t enough.Â
I miss the ABBOTT of past seasons that dealt with the rewarding, inspiring, and heart-stomping profession of being an educator. The staff is standing out in left field without any chance of a home run. I know it isn’t because of a lack of possible stories to tell. I hope the writers find their way back to what made this series so exceptional and award winning.Â
