This week, ABBOTT ELEMENTARY highlighted a hot topic: the decision to ban certain books from the school library. The topic was humorously and thoughtfully discussed. If only this could happen in our current society, books would have a chance to survive. Maybe Abbott’s writers should have a sit-down with these opposing viewpoints. This is why I like television programs more than reality.
It’s great to witness the entire ensemble grapple with commitment issues and better understand themselves. Their style is so understated yet usually winds up in frantic disarray. Timing is everything in a comedy series, and the Abbott facility nails it every episode. They know how to “check themselves before they wreck themselves.”
ABBOTT ELEMENTARY continues to share its total responsibility and obligation to public education. It’s nice to see someone fighting for the future of our children and grandchildren.
